1994 Stanton & Killeen Moodemere Cabernet Shiraz

Time seems to have stood still at Stanton and Killeen.This is still very much an old fashioned style with no apologies for it – it won’t appeal to everyone, but that probably will not worry Norm or Chris Killeen.Deep brick red colour, ripe plums, hint of tar and just a touch jammy, with a leathery background.The palate is old fashioned, reflecting the classic Rutherglen style – big leathery fruit, almost sweet, with firm tannin structure and stewed fruit aftertaste. Cellar 5 to 8 years.
