2010 Glaetzer Anaperenna Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque inky black colour with very deep black purple hue. The nose is still quite youthful and primary displaying aromas of blackberry, dark plum and blackcurrant followed by a touch of liquorice, some cedar and spice. It will build intensity and complexity with some time in the bottle. The palate is a super concentrate delivering flavours of ripe blackberry, blackcurrant and liquorice that completely swamp the palate followed by some confectionary and a very peppery back palate. Excellent depth and persistence with super fine grained although slightly dryish tannins. Excellent framework for extended cellaring. Very long blackberry, liquorice, blackcurrant and blackpepper aftertaste.
Cellar 8-10 years (2019-2021).
