Ardbeg Twenty One 2016 Release

Ardbeg Twenty One 2016 Release is a premium limited distillery-bottled aged Islay peated single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in standard 700ml. The nose offers refined mellow medicinal peat, dried dark berry fruit, honeyed vanilla, polished aged oak and subtle coastal saline mineral, with smoke well softened after two decades of cask maturation. On the palate, it is silky and well-integrated, featuring gentle layered smoky dried fruit sweetness, restrained maritime brine, warm toffee and elegant seasoned wood spice. The finish unfolds slowly with lingering mild peat, dried dark fruit and refined oak warmth, presenting sophisticated well-aged Ardbeg Islay malt character from scarce official 21-year limited release.
