Affordable Chianti is a fantastic, gluggable, food friendly wine. Good Chianti is there to remind you that Sangiovese is one of the world’s finest grapes responsible for some truly outstanding wines. This is a very good Chianti.
It shows tremendous depth of colour and great intensity on the nose. The palate is powerful and fruit packed with ripe raspberry and spicy cherry fruit supported by a touch of herbs and violets, soft silky tannins and a long, fine finish.
