History,
A premier Kentucky bourbon that offers the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, thanks to its unique combination of wheated and ryed mashbills.
Nose: Glorious notes of green apple and caramel. Cut stem, a musty sweetness, and elements of the tasting room of a winery come through on the nose.
Palate: There’s a low heat that builds to a comforting warmth. Herbal elements including notes of tarragon and basil stand out, along with the green apple of the nose and a dark cocoa finish. The sweetness is not overwhelming, and the bourbon is a bit of a puzzle for the palate. No one flavor takes over, but all blend perfectly for a seriously enjoyable taste.
