Foursquare Sassafras is an extraordinary rum that showcases the expertise of Foursquare Distillery. With a unique aging process, this rum spends three years maturing in ex-bourbon casks, followed by an additional eleven years in ex-cognac wood. The result is a captivating flavor profile that combines the influences of both cask types. Bottled in November 2020, Foursquare Sassafras is a limited edition release, with only 6000 bottles available. What sets this rum apart is its full maturation in the tropical climate, allowing it to develop a remarkable depth of character. Every sip unveils layers of complexity, revealing the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail put into its creation. Foursquare Sassafras is a testament to the artistry of rum-making, providing a truly exceptional experience for rum enthusiasts and collectors alike.
