One of two expressions released by Glenglassaugh distillery, late 2018. Octaves Peated Batch 2 has been carefully crafted by Master Blender, Rachel Barrie from a combination of single malt matured in bourbon, Port and Oloroso Sherry cask octaves. Maturing whisky spirit in a smaller octave casks (65 litres) allows more contact with the wood, developing and ageing the whisky a lot quicker.
