MOREY COFFINET 2023 PULIGNY PUCELLES

BURGHOUND 94 POINTS – ‘Note: from a .20 ha parcel of vines planted in 1999. Cool and elegant aromas of honeysuckle, spice, orange peel, exotic tea and a plenitude of floral elements are trimmed in admirably discreet wood. The exceptionally rich and quite generously proportioned flavors possess a plush but decidedly punchy mouthfeel while maintaining equally good balance on the beautifully long finale. This is class in a glass with the potential to match. If you can find it, buy it.*Burghound Sweet Spot Outstanding!*’

JASPER MORRIS 91 – 94 POINTS – “Pale lemon yellow. One of the very ripe exotic noses, a little touch of peach and mango, but it then refines to offer more precision, enough of the steely backbone of true Pucelles. Finishes in fine style, by way of these more exotic notes which may become less evident as the core fruit develops.”
