The Pertaringa vineyard is located in foothills to the East of McLaren Vale. The cooler climate of this vineyard allows for a longer ripening period resulting in fruit of great intensity of flavour. This is a superb Shiraz, displaying elegance and depth of flavour.Very deep crimson colour.Aroma of violets, cedar, plum and spice – a pleasure to sniff!The palate flavours are mouthfilling, displaying perfectly ripe fruit with a rare combination of weight and elegance – this is a very refined style.Palate flavours of ripe plums, blackberries and cedar.Excellent length and persistence.Perfect balance.Very fine tannins, followed by a long blackpepper, plum and spice aftertaste.
